Connect external systems agents can use. Catalog is what you can add; Connected is what this workspace has.

Connectors

A connector links the workspace to an external capability — Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, Notion, and (later) custom MCP — with credentials vaulted for the workspace and grants deciding which agents may use each product instance.

Agents dialog → Connectors (Plug icon). Segment: Catalog | Connected. Open a catalog tile for about + Connect; open a connected instance for health, access, and danger actions.

First-party products (Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, Notion) plus custom MCP path. Browse and start OAuth / setup.

Connected
What this workspace has

Live instances, health, grants. Open detail to manage — not the same list as Catalog.

How to use it

  1. Open Catalog, pick a product, read the detail, then Connect / Enable (editors and admins).
  2. Complete OAuth; you land on Connected with the new instance healthy.
  3. Onnie is auto-granted on connect; grant custom agents explicitly from instance Access or the agent’s Connectors lane.
  4. High-impact actions (e.g. send mail) still go through the normal confirm / needs-you paths — not a separate connector inbox.
  5. If health says reauthenticate, run Connect again for that product.

Google family: one Google account can enable Gmail, Calendar, and Drive as separate instances (sibling products do not silently copy specialist grants).

Connect is free on every plan; agent usage draws the shared capacity pool.

Custom MCP path

Advanced: register a custom MCP server under the same Connectors surface — not a top-level “MCP module” on the product rail. Product may show a Soon tile until remote connect is fully live.

Not the Calendar rail

Product Calendar (CalendarDays) is Work’s time lens. Google Calendar as a data source is a connector (Plug) under Agents.

Collab seats

Viewers can browse Catalog / Connected read-only. Connect, grant, disconnect, and reauth are editor/admin actions.
