Agents/Skills
Skills
Progressive procedures in the workspace library — catalog always visible; full body when needed.
Skills
A skill is a progressive procedure package: name and description stay in the agent’s catalog; the full body loads when the agent needs it (or when you preload it on a custom agent). Skills live in the workspace library under Agents → Skills.

How to use it
- New workspaces already get a starter pack of skills.
- Install more from the first-party catalog (editable copy in your library) or create / import.
- On Onnie, the whole library is visible in the catalog — no default preload of every body.
- On a custom agent, allow only the skills that agent should know; mark few as preload when the procedure must be present every turn.
- In chat,
/invoke a skill for this turn, or@reference a skill when discussing it — different jobs (Concepts).
Mental model
| Mechanism | What it does |
|---|---|
| Catalog | Always-on list of name + description the agent can choose from |
| use / invoke | Load full procedure when needed |
| Preload | Inject full body at turn start (custom agents; use sparingly) |
| Standing instructions | Room policy — not a skill body |
Key distinctions
- Skills are not connectors and not memory.
- Product copy is Install skill — not “plugin” in the UI.
- Project standing rules stay in project / workspace policy docs, not skill ownership per project.
