Work/Digests
Digests
Curated progress on a task — the shared record of what moved, not the full chat.
Digests
Digests are curated run and progress records on a task. They are how long-horizon Work stays scannable: what happened, what blocked, what is next — without dumping a private transcript into the room.

How to use it
- Re-enter a task after time away — read digests first, then focus and plan.
- Let the agent write digests during or after runs (you do not paste the chat into Work).
- Comment when you need an async human note — that is a different channel from digests.
- Expect denser digests on ghost / autonomous runs; live collaboration may write digests at meaningful moments (done, blocked, focus change) rather than every reply.
Mental model
| Channel | Audience | Content |
|---|---|---|
| Chat transcript | Chat owner | Full private stream |
| Digest | Workspace (task) | Curated progress |
| Comment | Workspace (task) | Async Connected prose notes |
Key distinctions
Not every reply is a digest
Bound live work is not “digest every message.” Digests stay curated so the spine stays readable.
